Stop! Don’t answer the telephone when you’re leaving for an appointment,
respect the commitment you already made!
- Start and end meetings on time and arrive at meetings on
time. This shows your respect for others.
- Commit only to the things you know you can accomplish. This reveals
your integrity in fulfilling promises.
- Set a deadline for completion of each task.
- Calendar appointments with yourself to accomplish the work.

- Use a timer to keep you on task.
- 3 Minute Rule: If you can do it in 3 minutes, don’t put it off.
- Politely cut calls (& office visits) short – set time boundaries
early.
